We are a Basavanagudi-based couple living in Bengaluru for more than 4 decades. Deeply passionate about preserving, celebrating, and sharing our rich cultural heritage, we thrive on creating meaningful insights, connections, and experiences through our walk-eat-shop program to sustain and honor our roots.
Beyond our professional endeavors, our personal journey is intertwined with our cultural identity built in Bengaluru. From family traditions to culinary delights, we cherish every aspect of our dear Bengaluru’s heritage and strive to make Bengaluru accessible to the world and also pass on its richness to future generations who are now living abroad!
Multiple people around us wanted to experience as well as get their hands on authentic local products from Bengaluru – but didn’t know how to, as the market was simply too perplexing :). We discussed this for several days & finally, weGudi was online.
Bengaluru is famously known as the “Silicon Valley of India” or the “IT capital of India” and is best known for its pleasant climate. However, Bengaluru is much more than its pleasant climate and software infrastructures, as it has a long historical and cultural heritage too.
